At Chotoku-ji Temple in Horowa, Fujisawa-cho, the Somin Festival will be held on Sunday, March 1.
On the day, the Somin-bukuro (sacred bag) scramble competition will begin at 10:00 AM. There will also be a display of hanging hina dolls (tsurushibina), a performance of sanichi shamisen music, and many other events.
