Ichinoseki City is located at the southernmost tip of Iwate Prefecture, at the foot of the Ou Mountains, so snowfall amounts vary greatly even within the city itself.
The city center is accessible via the Tohoku Shinkansen, making it relatively reassuring even for visitors unaccustomed to snow,
while the Snow Paradise venue, near ski resorts and other facilities, typically sees more than 1 meter of snowfall each year.
It’s about a 30-minute drive from the city center to the venue. A shuttle bus is available for the event.
