[2–3 Months Before] Setting the Date, Time, and Place
Set the date and time considering the availability of the officiating priest and your guests. The venue is arranged at the same time.
[1 Month Before] Notifying Attendees (Invitation)
Send invitations by postcard or letter to arrive one month in advance, clearly stating which memorial anniversary it is, along with the date, time, and place.
[2 Weeks Before] Seating Chart & Gift Arrangements
Inform the venue and temple of the number of attendees and decide the seating for the memorial meal. Also arrange return gifts and place cards.
