As part of our commitment to local production for local consumption, BELLINO HOTEL takes great care in sourcing local ingredients.
At our hotel, we use carefully selected produce, starting with Ichinoseki-grown “Hitomebore” rice from Satō Farm.
This time, we heard that Satō Farm’s (SucchanFarm’s) direct sales store “SucchanFarm STORE” had opened, so we paid a visit right away!

This small hut right in front of Satō Farm is the newly opened direct sales store.
You’ll find not only freshly picked vegetables and rice and original products, but also local farm produce and handmade accessories made by local farmers.
Limited-quantity free-range eggs. We also use these at our hotel as our “specially selected local eggs.”
Products are also on offer from the local elementary school that Mr. Satō of Satō Farm visits as an outside instructor.
It seems the students, after taking Mr. Satō’s lessons on agriculture, food issues, and environmental issues, came up with and made these products themselves!

It’s open only on Sundays, when farm work is on hold.
